  What do I look like?

  so i read everyone's posts and get to know the screen names of all of you on jwd and have this picture in my head of what those of you who dont have real photos of yourselves as avatars, and i wonder how wrong i would be if i were to meet any of you in person... so my question is this - what do you think i look like?

  my name is matilda, and i just started a jwd account.

  i know some other posters- rollerdave, my uncle, gopher (he visits roller), and my mom, my own soul.

  since she's making a record in delaying posting because she wants to write a novel, i thought i'd get in here and start.

  i know that the wtbts frown on this sort of thing, but it's obvious it still happens.. it just surprised me to see pics online of anything other than a district convention.. .

  my husband decides not to decorate the house since my stupid sister asked the co of her congregation to call on us and he's been coming by on a casual basis.. well the co is in town so my husband says, "i'm not doing the house.

  They want to make me an elder :-O

  this is the third elder that tells me that the body of elders will recommend me as an elder in the next visit of the co.. what do you think i should do?

  some facts:.

  i am still 'in' because of my family.i am ms.i am doing 10+ fake hours (well, some months it is fake), so they see my "spiritual" progress.-ootb.

  I have a serious and I need your help.....

  this time last year i met the man of my dreams...he was incredibly smart and charming...he was in tune with me...he made me feel like i was the best thing that ever happened to him.

  at first he was a little shy...he didn't think anyone of my caliber would even give him a chance...conveniantly though i had my run of bad guys...and wanted someone different.

  he was a devout christian...and i had been yearning for years for some direction.

  Very mature advise bourne, you use sound wisdom, i agree, but with a he aint gonna change added, because of his jw mentality, so faithful , you have to take it or leave it, and of course please get counseling, hope all will be well with you , agape, darrell
